MATT REYNOLDS Creative Director /Editor
Matt Reynolds is a filmmaker and editor specializing in documentaries, trailers and promos. His Emmy-nominated work has appeared on HBO, ESPN, Fox, History, and PBS, among other networks. Recent editing credits include HBO’s Kareem: A Minority of One, a portrait of NBA great and social activist Kareem Abdul Jabbar, and ESPN’s critically acclaimed 30-for-30 documentary Celtics/Lakers: Best of Enemies (2017), exploring the history of the NBA and American race relations through the LA/Boston sports rivalry.
Previously, Reynolds directed and edited the indie cult hit, The Great Chicken Wing Hunt (2014), about American cuisine and a quest for perfection. Dubbed by one critic,“The Big Lebowski of documentaries” Wing Hunt won awards at five film festivals, played theatrically in more than a dozen cities (including NYC, London, and Chicago) and was broadcast on Cooking Network and PBS UK.
As an editor, Reynolds’ work spans live sports, fictional shorts, arts promo videos, and the irreverent hit web series, Snob’s Dictionary, nominated in 2015 for a best-editing Webby.
Before getting into TV/film, Reynolds covered Eastern Europe as a journalist for Reuters News and The New York Times.
Reynolds is a recipient of the LIFA award for achievement in cinema.
